Knives of the Big Sky

Welcome to Shane Taylor Knives

Thank you for visiting Shane Taylor Knives. I’ve been a full-time bladesmith since 1992 and earned my Master Smith rating from the American Bladesmith Society in 2000.

I specialize in one-of-a-kind art knives, with a focus on figure mosaic Damascus and highly engraved, collectible pieces. Each knife is crafted using only the finest quality materials, including ancient ivories such as mammoth and fossil walrus.

My goal is to create a knife that not only showcases craftsmanship and beauty but also becomes a treasured heirloom—something worthy of being passed down for generations.
